Website Survey Analysis

Thank you to all the people who filled out the online survey for the website.

At the time of writing, we've had 70 responses, and that's given us plenty of feedback to work on how to make the website even better for you.

The majority of responders joined the club over 18 months ago, but we also had 24 people who joined in the last year. For those people, only 4 didn't look at the website when joining.

Championship Calculations updated

A new year brings a new championship table, and as always, myself and Chris Matthews have been working to improve the way results are calculated.

One of the issues with the results in previous years is the LPF score for individuals being based ont he course length, but not the course terrain. As a result, flat road races always gave higher scores than trail or hilly races. So events such as the Murder mile gave a very low LPF score, disadvantaging those who ran it.

Around the fields of Brecon Leisure Centre in Penlan, the course was a moderatley flat affair, zig zagging around and about various fields, of course with the occasional steep slope thrown in!
